June 21st to July 3rd, 2016

The narratives of our nation's history are woven into the fabric of our culture's rich tapestry. These voices rousing in song, solidarity, written word, and for peace, act as the inspiration for our 149th celebration of our nation and its birth. In the 10 days leading up to Canada Day, we will celebrate the voices of a nation - voix d'un pays: honouring our bilingualism, our multiethnicity, our proud literary movement, and the citizens that shaped our country with their strong voices.

There's a world of wonder waiting for you in Saint John, the only city on the Bay of Fundy. Pristine parks, steep history-lined streets, quality dining and shopping. An unforgettable ocean adventure and attractions around every turn. On Canada Day, many of the streets in uptown Saint John are closed to traffic as thousands of city residents take to the streets and enjoy a day of fun, food, music and of course, fireworks! All events are free, rain or shine!
